Zambonii formed in Salvador, Brazil in the early 2000s around vocalist and guitarist Kiko Zamboni, bassist Mingau, and drummer Léo Costa. Their debut album 'Prazer, Eu Sou...' came out in 2006, with the title track becoming a recognizable song for the band.
After Mingau left in 2008, the group continued with a changing lineup that eventually included bassist Alex Kraus. They released several more albums including 'Meu Pequeno Grande Mundo' in 2010, 'Olho Mágico' in 2013, and 'Dentro Do Meu Olho' in 2018.
Their music draws from rock and Brazilian popular music, with songs like 'Asa Delta' and 'A Mais Bela Luz' showing their range. The band has sometimes faced criticism for their stage performances and song topics, but they've maintained a consistent presence in Brazilian music for nearly two decades.
