Zampaglione formed in Rome in the early 2000s around singer and guitarist Niccolò Zampaglione, with Mario Congedo on guitar, Paolo Pomponi on bass, and Andrea Caggiari on drums. Their debut album 'Mezzo Inverno' came out in 2006 and included the song 'Com Sorte,' which became a hit in Italy.
They followed that with albums like 'Ti Amo Puoi Andare' in 2007 and 'Gli Anni Nostri' in 2009. Other songs like 'Deixa Leve' and 'Perto de Mim' have kept them on Italian radio. The band's lineup has stayed mostly the same since those early days.
In 2014, Zampaglione dealt with a copyright infringement case that got some attention, but they kept making music. They put out 'Il Mio Primo Disco da Grande' in 2015 and have played at events like the Sanremo Music Festival.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
