Zap-San formed in Rome in 2007 around frontman Marco Zangirolami, bassist Andrea Sandri, and drummer Alberto Magliocchetti. They started playing local clubs and festivals, mixing pop, rock, and reggae sounds. In 2010, they released their self-titled debut album.
Their 2013 single "Lei Aurea" with Moroccan singer Amiri became their biggest hit, reaching the top of Italian charts. The song's success brought them wider attention. Other tracks like "Enquanto a Chuva Cai" with Rashid & Terra Preta and "Frases" followed.
They've worked with various Italian artists over time, including Fedez, J-Ax, and Paola Turci. Their 2017 album "Argento Vivo" continued their output.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
