Zardanadam formed in the late 1990s with Okan Bayülgen on vocals, Tolga Çandar on guitar, Kerem Kabadayı on bass, and Can Atilla on drums. Their debut album in 1998 shared its name with the track 'Benim Askim,' which became their breakout song. The band's sound drew from rock and electronic elements, with songs like 'Su Adamlar' and 'Ayna Ayna Söyle Bana' showing their range.
They followed up with albums like 'Dört Mevsim' in 1999 and 'Bir Rüya' in 2001, continuing to blend genres and explore themes in their lyrics. Their activity slowed in the 2000s as members moved on to other work, but tracks such as 'Aşk Deme Bana' and 'Balsaçlım' remain part of their catalog.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
