Their 2005 album gave them the song 'Ontem Eu Bebi,' which became widely known in Brazil. Another track, 'Escopeta,' also appears among their most recognized work. The band's sound draws from grunge and alternative rock influences.
Zata faced some criticism for their aggressive musical style and encountered accusations regarding behavior, which contributed to their notoriety. They toured in Brazil and internationally. The band's lineup remained consistent through these releases.
