Zé Armando AD is a Portuguese duo that works with fado and pop. Their debut album 'Menina' came out in 2002, and the title track became a popular ballad. They followed it with albums like 'Estrela da Tarde' in 2003 and 'Alma' in 2006, which mixed fado with jazz and bossa nova. Another song of theirs is 'Outro Dia'.
In 2005, they received the Prémio Amália award for their contributions to Portuguese music. Their 2009 album 'Entre Nós' included collaborations with musicians like Dulce Pontes and Sérgio Godinho. The duo consists of singer-songwriter Zé Armando and guitarist AD.
