Zé Moraes is a Brazilian singer and songwriter from Salvador, Bahia. He moved to Rio de Janeiro and became part of the bossa nova scene there. In 1996, his song "Amor Virtual" became widely popular, helping establish his career.
His debut album included "Amor Virtual," and he later released albums like "Carnaval" in 1997 and "Tropicalismo" in 2002. Other songs like "Só Urucubaca" and "O Pidão" also appear among his work. In the early 2000s, there were plagiarism allegations about "Amor Virtual," but they were dismissed.
