Zeballos formed in Buenos Aires in 2011 with founding members Diego Frenkel, Nahuel Barbero, and Marcelo Guiliani. They released their self-titled debut album in 2013, which included the track "Nadir." The band has put out several more records since then, including "Parajes" in 2015, "Temporal" in 2018, and "Pulso" in 2021.
Their songs like "Piedra, Papel o Tijera" and "Controlr Zeballos" show a mix of folk, rock, and electronic elements. In recent years, they've faced some public discussion about their musical influences and have collaborated with other artists, including Mili Milanss on the track "Pa Pocos."
The band continues to work with Frenkel on vocals and guitar, Barbero on bass and vocals, and Guiliani on drums. They've built a catalog that moves between different styles without settling into one predictable sound.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
