Zeca Veloso was born in Salvador, Bahia in 1972, the son of Caetano Veloso. He started playing guitar early and formed his first band as a teenager. His debut solo album "Tropicália 2" came out in 1992.
He's released several albums including "Coração Vagabundo" in 1997, "Livre" in 2003, and "O Filho do Homem" in 2015. His songs like "Nenhuma Dor" and "O Sopro do Fole" show his range, from gentle crooning to soaring falsetto.
He's worked with family members including his father Caetano and brother Moreno, as on the track "Todo Homem." His music draws from samba and bossa nova alongside rock elements.
