Zee Docta formed in Chicago with Zed on vocals and guitar, Drake on bass, Jack on drums, and Emily on keyboards. Their debut album was called 'Night of the Living Dead,' and they followed it with 'Creatures of the Night' and 'Skeletal Symphony.'
Their song 'Creeping Skeletons' became their most recognizable track. Other songs in their catalog include 'Dedication To Defecation,' 'Die Fuck Kill,' and 'Prescription For Pain.'
They drew from punk and psychedelic rock, creating a sound that leaned into darker themes. The band's lyrics and stage presence sometimes drew criticism, but they kept working on their material.
