The band's lineup included guitarist Alejandro Garretón, bassist Cristián Hirth, and drummer Rodrigo Barrientos.
Their sound pulled from Andean folk elements alongside rock and electronic textures, heard on tracks like 'Laranja' and 'Março.' Lira's lyrics often dealt with solitude and landscape, while the arrangements favored atmospheric guitars and subtle percussion. They kept recording through the 1990s and early 2000s, putting out albums such as 'Ritual' in 1994 and 'Cruz del Sur' in 1997.
Some critics found their experimental direction too obscure at times. The band maintained a certain distance from mainstream attention, which added to their quiet reputation. They released their final studio album 'Indómita Luz' in 2002.
