Zelito Zen is a duo from Rio de Janeiro, formed in 2006 when vocalist Zelito and guitarist Zen met in the Lapa neighborhood. They started playing local venues while working on their material. In 2009 they released "Sol & Lua," which became a hit and brought them wider attention.
Their albums include Correnteza from 2011, Horizonte from 2014, and Natureza from 2018. The music mixes pop and folk with Brazilian rhythms, often touching on love and nature. In 2015 they faced plagiarism claims about the song "Horizonte," which they denied.
