He worked with musicians like guitarist Roberto Sá and drummer Rubinho Jacobina, and collaborated with other artists including Gilberto Gil. His albums include 'Cordas de Ouro' from 2000 and 'Sentimento Suburbano' from 2002. Another song people know is 'Minha Escolha'.
In 2005, there was some talk about a plagiarism allegation concerning one of his songs, but it didn't define his work. He kept putting out records like 'Semente do Amor' in 2007 and 'Aquarela Brasileira' in 2010, with his most recent being 'Luz do Sol' from 2017.
