Zepherin formed in 2005 with Ana Frango Elétrico on vocals, Igor Caracas on guitar, Bruno di Lullo on bass, and Thiago França on drums. Their debut album 'Severino' came out in 2007, followed by 'O Mundo Não É Nosso' in 2010 and 'A Cidade' in 2012.
Their song 'Severino (É o Fim)' became particularly well-known, alongside tracks like 'Entorpecer' and 'Fases da Lua.' The band developed a sound that mixed folk, rock, and electronic elements.
Zepherin's lyrics often dealt with social and political themes, which sometimes drew criticism alongside their following. They built their audience through live performances rather than mainstream industry channels.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
