ZephyruS formed in London in 2015 with vocalist Luna Solstice, guitarist Ethan Zephyr, bassist Rhys Gale, and drummer Sam Gale. Their debut album 'Zephyr' came out in 2017, followed by 'Gale' which included the song 'Cage.'
'Cage' became their breakout single, a ballad that caught attention for its atmospheric sound. They've since released albums called 'Solstice' and 'Gale Force,' maintaining a style that leans toward the haunting and atmospheric.
The band writes collaboratively, with Solstice's lyrics often touching on personal themes like anxiety. Their music has drawn mixed reactions at times, but they've kept working without major label support, sticking to their own approach.
