Zeppa Souza formed in São Paulo around 2012, with Zeppa Souza on vocals, Rafael Souza on guitar, Pedro Felix on bass, and Guilherme Purvin on drums. They started playing local bars and clubs, building a following with a sound that didn't stick to one genre. Their debut album 'Incompatibilidade' came out in 2015, anchored by the title track that became their most recognizable song.
That song, 'Incompatibilidade,' along with others like 'Luz Acesa' and 'Saudade,' deals with the complications of relationships and longing. The band followed up with 'Imperfeições' in 2017 and 'Plural' in 2019, the latter working with producer Pupillo. Their 2022 release 'Intransponível' continued exploring human connections.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
