Zero Adição

Zero Adiçao is a Brazilian rock band that formed in 2011 with Cristiano Ferreira on vocals and guitar, Ítalo Melo on drums, and André Marcelo on bass. Their debut album came out in 2014, sharing its name with the track 'Esqueça o Que Passou,' which became a notable song for them. They've put out other records like 'Nada É Por Acaso' in 2016, 'O Mundo Precisa de Mais Amor' in 2018, and 'O Silêncio Que Grita' in 2021.

Ferreira's personal struggles with addiction have been part of the band's story, and they've sometimes addressed themes of pain and recovery in their lyrics. Songs like 'Perto de Quem Sou' and 'O Que o Tempo Não Cura' reflect that introspective quality. Over time, the lineup expanded to include guitarist Rodrigo Silva, keyboardist Bruno Thiago, and bassist Rafael Marinho.
