Zero10 formed in Rio de Janeiro in 2012, with Rafael Queiroga on vocals, Alexandre Vaiano on guitar, Rodrigo Batista on bass, and Yuri Queiroga on drums. They started playing local clubs and festivals around Copacabana, gradually building an audience before their 2014 single "Amor Agora" took off across Brazil.
That song's romantic lyrics and soulful delivery connected with listeners, leading to albums like "Zero10" in 2015 and "Em Cada Canção" in 2017. Other tracks like "Clara" and "Nada Melhor" kept their sound in rotation on streaming platforms and radio.
In 2018, they faced some criticism for performing at a political rally, but generally kept their focus on love songs and occasional social themes. They released "Tudo Que Queria Era Ser" in 2019, with songs like "Novo Dia" and "O Que Eu Quiser" continuing in their melodic pop vein.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
