ZerO15 came together in São Paulo with Thaís Nascimento on vocals, Felipe Nunes on guitar, Bruno Vieira on bass, and Rodrigo Costa on drums. They built a following through smaller shows before their debut album 'O Desconhecido' brought them wider attention.
Their sound pulls from rock and electronic music, with Nascimento's vocals and lyrics often circling themes of the unexplained. Songs like 'Algo Inexplicável' and 'Ilusão' have a drifting, atmospheric quality that doesn't settle into straightforward categories.
The band's work has sometimes been read as having occult or paranormal undertones, which added to their reputation as an act operating outside usual conventions. They kept making music that leaned into ambiguity rather than explaining it away.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
