Zero55 formed in São Paulo in the early 2000s with Fábio Aguiar on vocals, Alex Ferreira on drums, Renato Ferreira on guitar, and Fernando Toledo on bass. Their debut album came out in 2003, and the single 'Trata De Me Entender' connected with listeners right away.
Guitarist Renato Ferreira left in 2005, and Cleber Almeida joined. The band put out three more albums after that: 'Mais Zero55' in 2005, 'O Terceiro' in 2007, and '4' in 2011. Songs like 'Férias Pra Você' and 'Pra Resumir (com Lany)' show their mix of rock and Brazilian pop.
Zero55's lineup settled with Aguiar, Alex Ferreira, Toledo, and Almeida. Their music has straightforward lyrics and melodies that feel familiar, which kept them going through some rough patches in the mid-2000s.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
