Zeropositivo formed in Turin in the late 1990s. Their music mixes electronica and rock, with songs like "Agosto" and "Al Posto Tuo" showing their approach to melody and lyrics.
Enrico Ruggeri writes most of their words, while Marco Mangiarotti handles guitars and electronics. Giancarlo Visi plays drums. They put out their first album in 1999, followed by records like "Isole" in 2002 and "Un Uomo" in 2005.
Their songs often deal with relationships and memory. Tracks such as "Posso Stare Senza Te" and "Distorta" have straightforward arrangements that let the vocals and mood come through without much decoration.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
