Zetabel was a rock band from Monterrey, Mexico. Their song "Psicópata" came out in 1998 and became their most well-known track. The band included vocalist Juan Manuel Martínez, guitarist Manuel Duarte, bassist Gilberto Durán, and drummer Ramón Martínez.
"Psicópata" appeared on their debut album "Sombras del Pasado." The song's lyrics and Martínez's delivery drew criticism at the time, with some suggesting it promoted violence. The band later released other albums like "El Legado" in 2001 and "Crónicas de la Oscuridad" in 2004.
Zetabel stopped performing together in 2006. Beyond "Psicópata," their catalog includes songs like "¿Cuando Estabas?," "La Cama Está Vacía," and "Lo Bueno de Ser Malo."
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
