Zettai Shounen formed in 2006 with four members: vocalist and guitarist Aoi, bassist Tatsuya, drummer Kenta, and keyboardist Chikashi. Their debut single 'Hikari no Shiruetto' came out in 2007 and was used as the opening theme for the anime series D.Gray-man.
In 2008, Tatsuya was diagnosed with acute leukemia, and the band paused activities while he recovered. They released a few more records including 'Kinjirareta Asobi' and 'Zettai Shounen' before disbanding in 2011. Songs like 'Humming Boy' and 'Shounen Humming' remain in their catalog.
