Zezety & Ademyr

Zezety & Ademyr are a Brazilian duo from the Amazon region. Their music draws from the rhythms and folklore of that area, with songs like 'Escolta de Vagalumes' and 'Coração Abriu Cancela' reflecting their connection to the land. They started performing together in the 1970s, releasing their debut album 'Coração Caboclo' around that time.

Their lyrics often touch on social and environmental themes, particularly concerning the Amazon rainforest. They've worked with artists like Gilberto Gil and Caetano Veloso, blending traditional Brazilian styles such as samba and carimbó with other influences.

Over their decades of recording, they've put out more than twenty studio albums, including 'Amazonas' and 'Alvorada Cabocla'. While their music has reached international audiences through festival appearances, they've maintained a focus on their Amazonian roots and cultural preservation.
