Zezito de Almeida came from Bambuí, Minas Gerais. His debut album 'Amigo Fiel' came out in 1996, and that title track became a hit. Songs like 'Cachoeira de poder' and 'Sem Jesus Não Dá' are part of his catalog.
He worked with musicians including Padre Marcelo Rossi, Daniel, and Aline Barros. His band had Robson Souza on guitar, Cristopher Santos on bass, and Vinicius Leal on drums.
Some of his music drew criticism for being openly religious, but he kept recording. He also started a foundation to help people in his hometown.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
