Zheel Chicleteiro formed in Maceió in 2012 with vocalist Yuri Queiroga, guitarist Ednardo Filho, and bassist Antônio Carlos. Their debut album 'Ta Barril Sem Você' came out in 2014, and its title track became a viral hit in Brazil.
Their lyrics often contained profanity and sexual references, which sparked debates about censorship.
They've released four studio albums including 'Noite Escura' in 2016, 'Bateu' in 2018, and 'Só Pra Te Zoar' in 2021. The current lineup includes drummer Fábio Souza and dancer Maria Eduarda alongside the original members.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
