Zico Lima is a Brazilian singer-songwriter from Paraisópolis, São Paulo. He grew up with a single mother and started writing songs about his experiences. In 2018, his single 'Portas Abertas' became a national hit in Brazil, and he released an album with the same title the following year.
His music has drawn some criticism from those who hear references to drug use in certain songs, though he has denied those interpretations. He works with musicians including Thiago Cattuzzo on bass, André Almeida on drums, Léo Moreira on guitar, and Felipe Sousa on keyboards.
After 'Portas Abertas,' he put out albums called 'Fé' in 2020 and 'Nosso Mundo' in 2022.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
