Zierler

Zierler formed in 2017 when Mark Zierler, who had been touring as a musician, put together a band in New York City. Their first release was an EP called 'The Cause' that same year. The lineup includes Mark Zierler on vocals and guitar, Chris Anthony on bass, Luke Jusiewicz on drums, and Justin Smith on guitar.

They've released a handful of singles and an album since then. 'Married to the Cause' came out as a single in 2018, and their album 'Unveiled' arrived in 2021. Other songs in their catalog include 'A New Beginning,' 'Aggrezzor,' and 'Dark To The Bone.'

In 2020, some listeners accused their lyrics of promoting political extremism. The band responded by saying they intended to spark conversation and question social norms rather than endorse any specific ideology. They've also talked about dealing with financial issues and member changes early on.

Their music pulls from hard rock and metal, with lyrics that touch on resilience and personal struggle. They put out a live album called 'Unleashed' in 2022.
