Zimboulakis & Van Beke are a duo from Athens who mix traditional Greek music with electronic dance beats. Their song "Mi Stamatas" came out in 2016 and became popular. Giorgos Zimboulakis plays bouzouki, and Jeffrey Van Beke handles production and DJ work.
They put out an album called "Syntonia" in 2017 and later collaborated on a project called "Melodies of the Mediterranean" in 2019. Some traditionalists weren't sure about their sound at first, but it found an audience. They've played at places like the Acropolis Museum in Athens and London's Royal Albert Hall.
