Zingo was a Brazilian band that formed in Salvador, Bahia. Their sound drew from samba, reggae, and hip-hop, creating something that caught on in Brazil and elsewhere. Their song 'Amor de Lá' became particularly well-known.
They released their self-titled debut album in 2005, followed by 'Lá Vem Zingo' in 2008 and 'Eu Sou Zingo' in 2010. Their music also included tracks like 'Leve Brisa', 'Tudo Tem o Seu Lugar', and 'Som do Tambor'.
At one point, the band faced accusations of plagiarism regarding 'Amor de Lá', which they disputed. The group included members like lead vocalist Daniel Moraes, guitarist Bruno Ramalho, and percussionist Rafael Pacheco.
