A vocalist-producer pair who helped shape reggaeton's sound from the underground up.
For their early sound, check out 'Mayor Que Yo.' 'Más (La Fórmula)' from 2016 shows how their style traveled.
They came out of Puerto Rico's reggaeton scene in the early 2000s with Zion on vocals and Lennox handling production. Songs like 'Mayor Que Yo' with Don Omar and 'Más (La Fórmula)' brought their rhythmic style to a wider international audience. Their catalog includes tracks like 'Roll The Rock' and 'Tu Principe' that show their consistent blend of romance and urban beats.
They formed in 2003 and released their self-titled album the following year. After hits in the late 2000s, they kept working through label disputes and a brief interruption when Zion faced legal issues in 2012. They've continued putting out music, including the 2019 release 'Zion & Lennox Present: El Sistema'.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
