ZipLock formed in Barcelona in the early 2000s with Xavi on vocals and guitar, Joan on bass, Alex on drums, and Marc on keyboards. Their second album, "Mundo de Fantasia," came out in 2004 and gave them their biggest hit with the title track. They released five albums between 2002 and 2010, including "Tempestades" in 2006 and "La Ăšltima Batalla" in 2010.
Around the time of their third album, there were some plagiarism accusations that got attention. Their lyrics sometimes drew criticism from more conservative listeners. The band kept making music through that period, putting out "4" in 2008 before their final album two years later.
