Zipper Club formed in Los Angeles around 2005 with Jake Thompson on vocals and guitar, Emily Carter on bass, and Ethan James on drums. Their debut album 'The Road Less Traveled' came out in 2007, and its single 'Going the Distance' became their breakout track.
After some public scrutiny and a temporary break, they returned with 'Phoenix Rising' in 2012. They followed it with 'Chasing the Sun' in 2014 and 'Echoes of the Past' in 2018.
