Zoi Di Cabra formed in Belo Horizonte, Brazil in the early 2000s, with Rodrigo Fogaça on vocals and guitar. They built a local following through live performances before releasing their debut album 'Um Só' in 2009. The title track from that album became particularly well-known.
After that initial success, they put out three more albums: 'O Tempo e o Caos' in 2012, 'Pulsa' in 2015, and 'Sem Filtro' in 2018. Their lineup has included André X on bass, Marco Lobo on drums, and Juliano Alvarenga on guitar alongside Fogaça.
In 2015, the band faced allegations of sexual harassment against Fogaça. They publicly addressed the situation, condemning inappropriate behavior and stating their commitment to creating a safe environment. The group went through what they described as a period of introspection afterward.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
