Zoids came out of Australia in the early 2000s. Their debut single "Wild Flowers" from 2003 caught on, and they put out an album with the same name the following year. The band had Dylan Waller on vocals and guitar, Jordan McDonald on drums, and Tim Lind on bass.
They released two more albums, "Shadow Boxing" in 2007 and "The Waiting Game" in 2010. Other songs from their catalog include "Chase," "Into Yourself," and "Your Song."
"Wild Flowers" became a particular touchstone for listeners, with its chorus about taking the wild flowers and the highway. The band's sound had a raw energy to it, and they kept playing and recording through that decade.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
