Zombies Ate My Heart formed in São Paulo around 2006 with Thiago Alteria on vocals, Henrique Gomes on guitar, Rafael Peixoto on bass, and Guilherme Medeiros on drums. Their first album, 'Underground Medicine,' came out in 2009, followed by 'Dead So Long' in 2011, which got them some attention outside Brazil. They put out a few more records after that, including 'Never Again' in 2013 and 'The Devil's Symphony' in 2015.
In 2013, they had a bit of trouble after a show where they used a hanged figure on stage. Some people complained, and the band apologized. They kept going and released 'Never Again' that same year, with the title track becoming one of their better-known songs. Other tracks like 'Solidão' and 'Nunca Mais' show up in their setlists too.
They're still the same four people they started with, which isn't that common for a metal band going this long. Their last album listed here is 'Dark Shadows' from 2018.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
