Zona de Três formed in Rio de Janeiro in 2011, started by three friends: Bruno "Buiu" Viana on vocals, Raphael "Raffa" Souza on guitar, and Leonardo "Léo" Bessa on drums. They put out their first album in 2014, followed by two more in 2017 and 2021.
Their song "Mala" became their breakout hit, though it drew some criticism for its lyrics in 2016. The band expanded in 2019, adding Alef Rodrigues on bass, Vinícius Felix on keyboards, and Leonardo "Léo" Neves on percussion.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
