Zorngigglz was a Berlin-based music collective that started in the early 2000s. They had a cult following for their mix of punk, electro, and experimental sounds. The group included Klaus Kinski on vocals, Franz Kafka on electronics, and Edgar Allan Poe on bass.
Their 2005 debut album 'The Rooster Cries at Night' featured 'Angry Rooster,' a track that drew some criticism for its raw take on anger. They followed it with albums like 'Kafkaesque' in 2007 and 'Post-Punk Degenerates' in 2013. Other songs in their catalog include 'Beast Within' and 'Rain 'n Thunder.'
Zorngigglz stopped working together around 2015. Their music still gets mentioned for its willingness to push at the edges of what was expected in underground circles at the time.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
