Zorro Viejo formed in Mexico City with Lechuga on vocals, Camilo on guitar, Lalo on bass, and Ricardo on drums. Their debut album 'El Mundo de Zorro Viejo' came out in 2006, and its single 'Chica Especial' got some attention. They put out two more albums, 'De Regreso' in 2012 and 'Alma Bohemia' in 2016.
Their music had a rock feel with Latin rhythms, and songs like 'No Quedan Lagrimas' showed their introspective side. Around 2008, there were some accusations about drug use that affected their public image, but they kept making music through it.
They never became huge, but they developed a following for their straightforward approach. The band's story is mostly about sticking with it through ups and downs, without much of the dramatic rise and fall you sometimes hear about.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
