Zuane formed in Rio de Janeiro in the early 2000s with André Prando on vocals, Fabio Sá on guitar, Nando Reis on bass, and Felipe Abreu on drums. They released their debut album 'Só Pra Te Ver Passar' in 2005, with the title track becoming a hit. The band has put out five studio albums, including 'Até o Fim do Mundo'.
Their songs like 'Hoje' and 'Água Viva' show their tendency toward soulful melodies and introspective lyrics. The lineup has stayed mostly consistent, with Prando's vocals as the central element over Sá's guitar work and the rhythm section of Reis and Abreu.
In 2010, Prando was involved in a public scandal that briefly affected the band's momentum. They continued working afterward, maintaining their presence in Brazilian music without dramatic reinvention.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
