Zuba formed in 2015 around vocalist Emily Stevens and guitarist Jake Miller, later adding bassist Sarah Jones and drummer Ethan Reed. They're from New York City. Their debut single "Floating Away" got attention, and they released their first album "Celestial" in 2017.
Songs like "Bring Your Love to Me" and "Groovin' With You" show their style, which leans toward melodic and atmospheric. They followed up with albums called "Elysian" in 2019 and "Astral" in 2022.
In 2018, Stevens faced plagiarism accusations that were later dismissed. Around that time, their manager was arrested for embezzlement, which the band navigated without breaking up.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
