Zuleyka Barreiro is a salsa singer from Puerto Rico. She got her start in the late 1990s with a band called Salsa Fever, where her voice began to draw attention. In 2001, she released her first solo album, which took its title from the song 'Que Me Falte Todo Menos Tu Presencia.' That track, a ballad about love's persistence, helped establish her as a solo artist.
Her work includes albums like 'Salsa con Zuleyka' from 2003 and 'Sabor a Salsa' from 2006. She has recorded with other salsa musicians, including Andy Montañez and Tito Nieves. Songs like 'Estuve Ahí' and 'Forjada En El Desierto' appear among her recorded material.
She performs with her own group, Zuleyka Barreiro y Su Orquesta, which features horns and percussion. They have played shows in Latin America, the United States, and Europe.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
