Zum Zum formed in the early 2000s in Tenerife, with vocalist and guitarist Rodri, guitarist Toni Martín, bassist Javier Vargas, and drummer Luis Miguel Hernández. Their debut album 'El Arpa de Piedra' came out in 2004 and included 'Un Águila Llamada Libertad,' which became a hit in Spain.
In 2006, the band faced plagiarism allegations over that song, claiming similarities to another artist's work. They defended themselves and maintained the song was original. Zum Zum released three more albums after that: 'Una Vida Más' in 2007, 'Desafío' in 2010, and 'Entre el Silencio y el Ruido' in 2013.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
