A Brazilian punk band that channeled The Clash's energy into songs about life in their country.
If you want to hear them at their most unvarnished, try "Pânico" or "Não Gosto de Você." They don't waste a note.
They formed in São Paulo in 1983 and made music that felt urgent and local. Their track "Onde Os Fracos Não Tem Vez" became an anthem for many. Songs like "Pânico" and "Crianças Chatas Não Ganham Doce" kept that rough, direct energy alive.
They started with Somos Todos Iguais in 1985, followed by Pra Quem Fica Pra Quem Vai in 1986. By 1989's Só Protesto Pra Não Morrer, they'd built a catalog that included "Asas da Guerra" and "Caminhando E Matando."

Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
