Zurisaday was a band from Mexico City with Alejandra Robles on lead vocals, Luis Fernando Huerta on guitar and vocals, and Marcelino Huerta on bass. They released their first album 'Que Pasaria' in 2011, which included the title track that became their most recognizable song.
Their music often dealt with themes of love and longing, with Robles' vocals carrying much of the emotional weight. They followed up with 'Dejame Creer' in 2014 and 'Amanecer' in 2017 before disbanding in 2020.
While some critics found their lyrics sentimental, they developed a dedicated following who connected with the straightforward emotional quality of their songs. Their music continues to find listeners on streaming platforms years after they stopped recording together.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
