ZZ Gundam was a Japanese band that worked in anime music during the late 1980s and early 1990s. The group featured vocalist Hiromi Iwasaki and guitarist Nozomu Sasaki, and they put out albums like 'Riddle' in 1986, 'Animation' in 1987, and 'Eien' in 1988. Their songs included 'Anime Janai' and 'Silent Voice'.
They were known for combining symphonic metal elements with J-pop, which gave their music a particular sound within anime circles. The band stopped working together around 1993.
