ZZAK formed in Madrid in 2008 with Sergio Sanz on vocals and guitar, Pablo Serrano on bass, and Carlos Sánchez on drums. They put out their self-titled debut album in 2010, which included the track 'Viciante.'
That song caught on with listeners, its melody sticking around while Sanz sang about relationships in a way that felt direct. The band followed it with albums like 'El Perro Diablo' in 2013 and 'Los chicos del cementerio' in 2016.
Their sound pulls from rock and electronic touches, avoiding easy labels. They've kept the same three members since starting, working through the usual early struggles of a new band without much fuss about it.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
