A condenação eterna ao inferno
não é tanto pelo acúmulo
de atos e omissões
pecaminosos
cometidos no curso da vida,
quanto pelo fato
de toda e qualquer pessoa
já chegar a este mundo
debaixo de condenação,
em razão de se encontrar,
por natureza,
morta em delitos e pecados.
Seu espírito está morto
Separado de Deus
E sem ter comunhão com Ele.
Isto só pode ser mudado
Caso seja justificado
E vivificado pelo Espírito
Por causa da fé
Em Cristo.
Jesus veio ao mundo
para dar vida
aos que estão mortos
espiritualmente,
porque a sentença proferida
contra Adão
de que ele morreria,
e com ele toda a sua descendência,
no dia em que comesse
do fruto proibido,
foi cumprida cabalmente.
Jesus então, ao morrer na cruz,
matou a nossa morte
com a sua morte,
morrendo em nosso lugar
para que fôssemos
livrados da morte espiritual
já neste mundo,
por causa da justificação
do nosso espírito
que se achava morto
em pecados e delitos
antes de nos termos convertido
a Jesus Cristo.
É a rejeição desta vida
Desta justiça de Cristo
que está sendo oferecida
gratuitamente por Deus,
para ser recebida
somente pela fé,
é o grande motivo
do juízo divino
sobre todo aquele
que não crê no Senhor
e na Sua Palavra,
e que não se arrepende
e se volta para Ele
para receber a vida eterna.
