Toen riep Jochem: "Vuurtoren", dat doet die rotzak vaak
Daarna zag ik een neger met een pikzwarte huid
En omdat ik er zo de pest in had schold ik die toen uit

Een zwart gezicht of juist een wit of sproeten op de wang
De scheldpartij is eindeloos en duurt al eeuwen lang
Vandaag heb ik gelachen, want een meisje schold me uit
Het ging weer eens een keertje over m'n zwarte huid
Toen ik werd uitgescholden, toen schoot ik in de lach
Dat meisje had het roodste haar, dat ik van m'n leven zag
En meestal roek ik "Kaaskop" of "Bleekscheet" of zoiets
Maar tegen zo'n rooie vuurtoren riep ik gewoon maar niets
refr.
Als een kind maar iets bijzonders heeft: een bril, een moedervlek
Dan begint de scheldpartij en dat is toch te gek
Als de merel nou zou lachen om de lijster of de spreeuw
Of de regen zou gaan schelden op de hagel of de sneeuw
Nee, zo gek is de merel niet, maar jij, jij bent dat wel
Als jij op de Molukkers scheldt, vanwege hun bruine vel
Dus, ga je nu maar schamen, met een rooie kop
En dat verdomde schelden: hou daar nu eens mee op
