There was a time,

Though long ago,

That came before you tamed me,

When I ran wild with the beasts,

And no desire could claim me.

My skin grew thick and my nails long,

My hair all weeds and brambles,

I bet my heart on every day

And haughty in my notions,

Had stopped a creature in it's tracks,

By feigning false devotion.

But just like in the fables,

A wolf emerged from sheep's disguise,

and swiftly turned the tables.
